This explains what [Company legal name] ("Huntler", "we") collects when you use Huntler, why, and what choices you have. Contact: hello@huntler.ai, [address].
What we collect
- Account: your name, email address and a hashed password, plus a session cookie that keeps you signed in.
- What you sell: your website, any deck or description you give us, and the profile Huntler builds from it.
- Leads and outreach: the people you shortlist or contact (name, job title, company, work email and profile link), your drafts, sent messages, statuses and notes.
- Gmail (if you connect it): your connected address and an access token. Huntler sends the emails you approve and reads only the email threads that Huntler started, so it can show replies in your inbox. It does not read the rest of your mailbox.
- Billing: handled by Stripe. We receive your plan and payment status, not your card number.
- Usage: basic logs (such as errors and request times) for security and reliability.
Where lead data comes from
People you see in Huntler come from third-party business-data providers, from lists you import, and from links you paste. We use this data only to show you matches and help you contact them.
How we use it
- to run Huntler: find matches, draft emails, send what you approve, show replies;
- to keep the service safe: rate limits, abuse prevention, an unsubscribe list;
- to bill you and support you.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Google user data
Huntler's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Gmail access only to send emails you approve and to show replies to threads Huntler started. We do not use it for advertising, do not sell it, and no person at Huntler reads your email except where you ask for support, where it is needed for security or to comply with law. Content from your replies may be processed by an AI provider to label a reply or draft a response for you, and is not used to train generalised AI models. You can disconnect Gmail in Settings, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Who we share it with
Service providers that process data for us: our hosting provider [name]; Anthropic (AI drafting and reading what you provide, subject to their commercial data terms); data providers that supply lead information; Stripe (payments); Google (Gmail). We may disclose information if the law requires it.
People you contact
If you received an email sent through Huntler and want to stop hearing from that sender, use the unsubscribe link in the email. To ask what we hold about you or have it removed, email us.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Email hello@huntler.ai to delete your account and its data; we will do so within [30] days, except what we must keep for legal or abuse-prevention reasons (for example an unsubscribe list, so we never email someone who opted out).
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK or California) you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export or object to our use of your data. Email us and we will respond within the time the law requires. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Security
Passwords are hashed, connections use HTTPS, and Gmail tokens are stored server-side. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us promptly if you suspect a problem.
Changes
If we make material changes we will update the date above and tell you in the product or by email.
