Terms of Service

Draft. This is a starting version written to match how Huntler works today. Have a lawyer review it, and fill in the bracketed details, before you launch publicly.

These terms govern your use of Huntler, operated by [Company legal name], [address] ("Huntler", "we"). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. What Huntler does

Huntler helps you find people who may want what you sell, drafts outreach emails, and, once you approve them, sends them from your own Gmail account and tracks replies. You decide who to contact and you approve every message before it is sent.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. You are the sender

Emails go out from your Gmail account, in your name. You are responsible for their content and for complying with the laws that apply to your outreach, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR/PECR, CASL and similar rules. In particular you agree to:

send only truthful, non-deceptive messages and identify yourself and your business accurately;
honour unsubscribe requests. Huntler adds an unsubscribe link and a postal address and stops sending to people who opt out, but you must not work around this;
not send to people who have told you not to, and not use Huntler for spam, harassment, phishing, or anything unlawful.

We may apply daily sending limits and may pause or close accounts that cause spam complaints or abuse.

4. Third-party data and services

Lead information comes from third-party data providers and from lists you supply. It may be incomplete or out of date, and we do not guarantee its accuracy. Huntler connects to Google (Gmail), Anthropic (AI drafting), data providers and Stripe (payments). Your use of those services is also subject to their terms. Huntler does not scrape LinkedIn or any site that forbids it.

5. AI-written content

Drafts are generated by AI and can contain mistakes. Read each draft before approving it. You are responsible for what you send.

6. Plans, credits and payment

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe and renew until you cancel. A credit covers one person's outreach sequence. Browsing and swiping do not use credits. Unused credits do not roll over unless the plan says so. You can cancel at any time and the plan runs to the end of the paid period. Except where the law requires, fees are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice before your next renewal.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload or write (your product details, lists, drafts). You give us permission to process it to run the service. Do not upload personal data you have no right to use.

8. No guarantees

We do not promise replies, meetings, sales or inbox placement. The service is provided "as is" and "as available".

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending things

You can stop using Huntler and ask us to delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or put others or the service at risk.

11. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will tell you about material changes. These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and courts there have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have by law.
